12 Strangers at Independence Mall

This is Jeannete Lynn a historian and author from Central Point, Oregon. She writes historical fiction for middle school age students and said that she likes Philadelphia for all of its American History.

Kate Kozonaky, who is from Philadelphia, was out walking a dog she is currently fostering, and says she likes the action in Philly, and that there is always something to do.

Patricia Jeppson, left, is a professor of history at Cheney University and is from Philadelphia. Her student, Tristan Hebron, is from Scranton. She was conducting a kind of out of the classroom lesson with Tristan, but both said they love Philadelphia for...again...the history.

Here are Lisa Green, and Michael Murphy, they reside in Kimwood. When asked what they don't like about Philadelphia, Michael in particular said he didn't like that Philadelphia has been on an economic downhill trend.

Mark Young lives in Philadelphia, but is from Wilkes-Barre. He is a manager for the "Big Bus" tours that start at 5th and Market, just adjacent to Independence Mall. He says he really likes all the culture in Philadelphia.

The Rock, is all this guard told me to call him from across the street, because I wasn't allowed to get any closer. He did say however that he was from Philly, and that he liked his job and the history of the city.

This is Jim Shuler, who is from Philadelphia, he declined to tell me anything other than that, and kind of just walked away from me. However, I liked this portrait enough to still include him.

Chris Choenborn, he is from Minnesota, and he declined to tell me what city/town, because I wouldn't know it. Chris was just in Harrisburg for training, and said he was killing time in Philadelphia before he ships out. He wouldn't say what for, and was not thrilled with the whole idea of me asking him questions.

Here are Dave and Marie, they are from Virginia Beach, Dave is originally from Bucks County. He says he likes just about everything about the city right now, especially the new stadiums, and the huge cheese steak he had the night before. Despite the cold that day, they said they were glad to be here instead of Virginia Beach where they were expecting about four inches of snow.
