Design Philadelphia

I took photos of the Design Philadelphia events this week, returning multiple times in the day to capture the variety of events that were held. The Artist's residence during the day, and the projection on the cube at night. I put them in order to give a little idea as to how the day progressed.

The curators cover the cube with a screen so the projection can begin.

A party was held in the Fairmount Park Welcome Center.

It was very difficult to capture both the cube and the people watching without the onlookers being blurry, or the cube getting blown out and appearing to be just a white box.

A Dj was performing throughout the event, but it wasn't until the end of the night when everyone who had been drinking at the welcome center decided to turn it into a dance party.
